Architectural design: Nelson platform bench from Rove Concepts

The Nelson platform bench is meant to celebrate American architectural design, particularly the influence of building styles on mid-century modern furniture.

Equally functional as a bench or low table, this piece from Rove Concepts can be used in numerous ways. The slats are intentionally spaced to allow light and air to flow through, giving a lighter aesthetic to a sturdy industrial design.

This item comes in a choice of solid American walnut or ash wood. It has three coats of UV-cured polyurethane for its finish. The iron frame base is painted black.
