Dallas Westin completes total overhaul

The Westin Galleria Dallas completed a multimillion-dollar refresh of the property. The overhaul included an update of all guestrooms and suites, the lobby and meeting spaces, as well as the property’s on-site restaurant, The Second Floor. In addition to updating the 448 guestrooms and 10 suites, the refresh updated meeting spaces and transformed the lobby by modernizing the space and adding more communal seating.

“This refresh shows our commitment to providing each guest with a world-class experience and complete sense of renewal during their stay with us,” said Greg White, GM of the Westin Galleria Dallas. “Our guestrooms now include top-of-the-line features and amenities while the lobby and public spaces have evolved to offer our guests a bright and airy welcome the moment they walk in the door.”

The update reworked the hotel's guestrooms, public spaces and meeting spaces.

Highlighted in the Westin’s recent transformation was a complete refresh of all guest rooms, which now have updated furniture, including all new Westin Heavenly Beds. Special light fixtures with device charging USB ports will be available. A “Westin Haven” community work table in the lobby, along with computers and a printer for guests, will also be available. A new lobby buffet area provides regular coffee service as well as a cupcake ritual on weekends. The hotel’s 54,000 square feet of customizable meeting space was overhauled with modernized surroundings, and now offers rooms capable of hosting any event. The entire hotel has also been upgraded to provide guests with updated wireless internet speed and capacities, including 15 Mbps basic service and 30 Mbps premium internet. In addition, the property offers 24-hour support for all services, allowing guests to always remain connected.
