Didier Gomez Interiors, DYAMI Architecture PC complete ONE UN New York’s $70M refurbishment

Millennium Hotels and Resorts completed the $70 million (£58 million) renovation to its North American flagship hotel, ONE UN New York.

In keeping with the architecture and design of the original Kevin Roche-designed building, the renovation maintained original elements of the hotel that first opened in 1976. The renovation encompassed all 439 guestrooms and suites, meetings and event spaces, public areas and the Ambassador Grill Restaurant and Bar.

For the project, Millennium Hotels and Resorts worked with architect and interior design consultants Didier Gomez Interiors and DYAMI Architecture PC in order to realize the vision of the hotel. The transformation resulted in front-of-house improvements along with upgraded facilities and equipment.

The interiors of the redesigned guestrooms and suites, which range from 240-square-feet to 510-square-feet, have warm bronze and taupe hues.
