On New York's Long Island, The Roundtree, Amagansett is set to officially open in May. The 15-room boutique hotel, owned by private investment firm WTI, will be open year-round.
The property recently was known as Gansett Green Manor, and was acquired by WTI last year for just over $6 million.
The estate's historic barns and cottages recently were updated to evoke the traditional farms of the Hamptons. The main structure is a century-old barn with eight rooms and suites. The rest of the accommodations are spread out in standalone cottages. The property's two acres of gardens can host picnics and barbecues, and the event space can host up to 250 people.
The hotel is within walking distance of both the ocean and the village of Amagansett.
