The Hotel Group renovates Crowne Plaza Kansas City Downtown

Edmonds, Wash.-based management company The Hotel Group has completed the renovation of the Crowne Plaza Kansas City Downtown, with the newly redesigned public spaces and guestrooms now featuring the WorkLife model

In addition to a refreshed Grab and Go Market and refreshed lobby coffee shop, Full Steam, the hotel also unveiled a new dining concept, The Rail Bar & Bites, inspired by the historic local rail industry.

The 385-room full-service property has over 14,000 square feet of meeting space, including 10 meeting rooms and function spaces.

The property is located in the heart of Downtown Kansas City.

Since its inception in 1984, THG has managed and/or owned over 125 properties in 25 states representing over 20 brands, directed the design and construction of nearly 50 new hotels, and completed the acquisition of nearly $200 million in private investment through the Hotel Group Opportunity Funds.
