Intra-Spec Hospitality Design helps renovate The Muse in New York

The Muse, A Kimpton Hotel, a property located in New York City’s Theatre District, completed a renovation encompassing the entire property. The Muse Hotel’s renovation included the guestrooms, restaurant, meetings rooms and addition of curated art pieces to reflect the property’s neighborhood.

The corridors and the meeting rooms now have new carpeting in gray and navy hues. The hotel’s meeting rooms have new furnishings, including waterfall chandeliers and black-and-white photographs depicting images of New York City architecture and skyline views. Each of the three meeting rooms at The Muse Hotel now has 65-inch flat screen TVs with Apple TV and Google Chromecast streaming devices.

Lobby enhancements included new chaise style seating. The lobby also has a new glass chandelier and a handmade metallic vessel designed to create the look of cascading light.

Adjacent to the lobby, NIOS Restaurant now has communal dining tables.

Designed by a team at Intra-Spec Hospitality Design, the new guestroom décor has a black and white palette, seen in the use of fabrics and carpeting, while blue wall coverings provide a softer hue. Guestrooms have dual window shades, dimmable lamps and pop-up reading lights installed directly into the headboards. Bedside nightstands have USB ports, a Jawbone Jambox Bluetooth speaker and electrical outlets. There are also decorative throw pillows and in-room infinity mirrors.

Bathroom enhancements included Carrera marble and glass enclosed walk-in showers with overhead rainwater and handheld shower heads, chair-sized corner benches and inset wall niches.
