Redmond hotel near Microsoft campus completes $7.3M transformation

The Seattle Marriott Redmond opened following a complete renovation of its guestrooms.

The renovation created open spaces that celebrate the inventiveness of the city's visitors and guests. Based on consumer insights, locally-inspired accents offer a sense of place, while work surfaces provide the flexibility to move and use technology wherever the guest desires. Many bathtubs were replaced with walk-in showers and new lighting.

The minimalist décor reflects the contemporary design of the campus where the hotel sits, with multi-purpose workspaces, USB ports and modular furniture. All renovated rooms incorporate hard surface flooring, low profile platform beds, and 55-inch wall-mounted flat-screen TVs with live app streaming.

For events, Seattle Marriott Redmond partnered with Steelcase to create Workspring, a suite of studios and meeting venues. This space reinvents the concept of modern day meetings with all-inclusive food and beverage options, integrated technology that connects to devices, and meeting spaces inspired by the natural surroundings.

Seattle Marriott Redmond is located in Redmond Town Center, near the Microsoft World Headquarters.
