The SpringHill Suites Baltimore BWI Airport completed a $3-million renovation that saw changes made to the suites and public spaces. The property is located less than three miles from Baltimore-Washington International Airport, and made improvements to its guestrooms, lobby, hallways, business center, front desk, breakfast area and 24-hour market. The new look also includes custom artwork placed throughout the hotel as an effort to support local artists through its “Save Art!” initiative.
Remington Hotel's in-house design team oversaw all the changes made to the SpringHill Suites Baltimore BWI Airport.
The lobby was divided into three sections with new big-screen TVs, high-top tables with power outlets and a community table. Free Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the lobby, and an expanded business center has a complimentary boarding pass print station.
Each room now has new mattresses with spandex bed skirts, blackout drapes and sheers and pullout sleeper sofas. Updated wall treatments, carpet, lighting, USB ports and outlets complement amenities including wet bar areas, stainless steel microwaves and mini-refrigerators.
The hotel's breakfast area now has built-in coolers and induction stovetops. The 24-hour market was also revamped.
