Construction is underway at The Spa & Fitness Center at Four Seasons Hotel Houston as the downtown hotel undergoes a makeover that includes a revamp of the property’s 4th floor spa and fitness facilities.

Architectural firm Rottet Studio is overseeing the redesign that will be completed later in March.

Upon completion, the renovated spa will have three new treatment rooms, a relaxation room, a couples’ suite and a nail bar. Meanwhile, the redesigned fitness center will have new equipment, locker rooms, steam rooms and a designated room for fitness classes.

The space will have white marble, dark travertine tile, and eucalyptus and oak burl wood. The locker rooms will have marble clad bathing and grooming areas, accented by floating vanities that will have art-glass panels with metal fabric, custom mirrors and wallpaper. There will also be plumbing fixtures from Waterworks.

This same design aesthetic will be seen in the spa’s treatment rooms.
