Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center, Puerto Vallarta undergoes renovation

In Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center is renovating its 473 guestrooms, consumer centers, public areas and spa at a cost of more than 200 million pesos, or $11.4 million.

The property—located on Las Glorias beach, near the Malecon—has six restaurants and four bars. Among those that already completed renovation are Gaviotas and the Embarcadero Gastro Bar.

Another key renovation is the Maiave Village, Cabañas Spa. The brand-new spa has three locations for services: Espigon, Maiave Village and the Maiave Spa. There are three cabins on one side of the pool, surrounded by gardens, two with outdoor Jacuzzi and one accessible for people who are differently abled.

Meanwhile, new Sheraton Club rooms are located on the top three floors of the building, where guests can look out over the Pacific Ocean and the mountains.
