Value Place continuing investment

The brand recently completed five $500,000 hotel renovations at properties in Lubbock, Texas; Greenwood, Ind.; Akron and Mentor, Ohio. These renovations are part of Value Place's national effort to enhance corporate- and franchisee-owned properties, all new construction between 2002 and 2013.

The updates include upgraded lighting, beds and televisions, as well as amenities including high-speed, wireless Internet.

In January the company launched a new national growth strategy with the goal of increasing its corporate- and franchise-developed properties around the country.
