Florida's W Miami opened the Wet Deck Café adjacent to the hotel’s 15th floor rooftop pool, which recently reopened after two years of renovations.
While designing the Wet Deck Café, Marthica Galvis, director of marketing for W Miami who spearheaded the endeavor, sought to build a space that was bright and welcoming with an emphasis on natural greenery. The café hallways are predominantly a combination of white and grey with a pop of color from a palm tree and gold accented wallpaper, providing a modern yet simplistic feel. Furniture includes white marble countertops with gold details.
The Wet Deck Café also introduces the hotel’s first W store, consistent across the W brand, where poolside products are available for purchase. Items include hand-held fans, sunglasses and sunscreen from Coola and Sunshine & Glitter.
