Nominations are now open for the annual IHIF Young Leader Award, which is co-sponsored by the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) and the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF).
2016 is the ninth year of the award, which recognizes outstanding contribution and effort from an inspiring young individual.
ISHC Executive Director Andrea Belfanti said that it is the society's mission “to contribute to the advancement of the hospitality industry, which is why it is so important for us to recognize and encourage emerging leaders. We are proud of this continued partnership with IHIF and the exceptional young talent that has been awarded over the years. Every year we look forward to being inspired by the nominees who are shaping the future of our industry.”
Tess Pearson, event director for Questex Media Group, hosts of IHIF, noted that as IHIF celebrates its 19th year, it remains “highly important” to consider the legacy of the event. “The Young Leader Award is an opportunity to do this and we’re delighted to once again be working with the ISHC on this initiative and look forward to receiving the nominations.”
