Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix to become Autograph Collection property

The Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix is set to become an Autograph Collection hotel, managed by Destination hotels. The revelation was made in Host Hotels & Resorts' Q1 earnings report, here.

The property will close in July and will reopen in early 2016. The hotel stil stays in Marriott International's brand family. 

According to Hotel Chatter, there remains no message on the hotel's website about the closure.

Host will also reportedly close its Four Seasons Philadelphia property in June 2015 "in order to expedite renovation and rebranding efforts to convert this property to a contemporary, independent luxury hotel to be operated by Sage Hospitality. The company anticipates reopening the property by the end of the year."
