Hotels make 5 appointments in sales, marketing

Hotels in California, Colorado, Illinois and Florida have made new appointments in sales and marketing recently. Here’s the latest.

The Hilton Hotels of San Francisco at Union Square promoted Cindy Ramesh from complex director of sales to complex director of sales and marketing. Ramesh holds 25 years of experience in the tourism industry. For the past 10 years she has served as director of sales at the 1,921-room Hilton San Francisco Union Square. Since 2015 she has also been responsible for the complex’s other hotel, the 1,024-room Parc 55 San Francisco – a Hilton Hotel.

The 190-room Park Hyatt Beaver Creek (Colo.) Resort and Spa named Michael Bergin director of sales, events and marketing. Bergin first began working at Hyatt Hotels Corp. properties in 2007 as a food runner at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure. Since going through the Sales Corporate Management Trainee Program at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in 2009, he has worked in different sales capacities at several Hyatt hotels. Most recently, he served as director of sales, marketing and events at Andaz Napa (Calif.).

In Dana Point, Calif., the 400-room Monarch Beach Resort appointed Kimberly Leary director of incentive and Midwest sales, where she will lead and develop growth incentive and sales strategies. Leary brings 18 years of experience to her new role. Most recently she worked at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., as national sales manager.

Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel named Amy Verdon restaurant and hospitality sales manager. Verdon came to the 1,641-room Chicago hotel from its sister property The Drake, a Hilton Hotel. During her more than 15 years there, she managed business strategies, created menus and dining concepts and rose to hospitality manager.

In Miami Beach, Fla., the 357-room Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, Autograph Collection appointed Craig Richesin director of sales and marketing. He brings more than 15 years of hospitality sales and marketing to his new role, including 13 with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, where he last held the role of director of sales and marketing at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel.
