Andrew Bou-Sliman, VP of acquisitions & development, Naples Hotel Group, Naples, Fla.

As VP of acquisitions and development for Naples Hotel Group, Andrew Bou-Sliman is overseeing seven construction projects (in different phases) and one acquisition. “I coordinate with many disciplines in my job including general contractors, architects, engineers, designers and procurement companies to ensure a project stays on time and on budget.”

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? In 20 years? How are you working today to develop your career for your next positions?

I hope to be at the helm of Naples Hotel Group’s success. I’m foolish to think that I have all the right answers; I always talk with other people about how they do things. I’m constantly trying to and the smartest way to do things and make work easier for people. I’m always learning and am fortunate to be surrounded by intelligent people. The owners that we manage for all have diverse backgrounds and bring with them a lot of experience from other industries. It’s amazing the perspective they bring from other industries. We can get stuck too much on doing things the way it’s always been done. There always can be a smarter way to do things.
