Every year since 2012, HOTEL MANAGEMENT has sought out nominations from the hospitality industry for its annual Thirty Under 30 list, composed of the industry's best and brightest rising stars.
This year's crop is as distinguished as years past, and includes job titles ranging from Digital Content Producer and Executive Chef to General Manager and VP of Acquisitions and Development.
Winners were selected based off their responses to various questions, a taste of which you will read herein. Nominees had to be 30 years old or younger as of Dec. 31, 2017, currently work at any level in a hotel field (operations, management, ownership, technology, asset management, consulting, training, sales & marketing), have completed a significant project for his or her hotel or organization and be recognized by leaders of his or her own hotel or organization as an emerging leader.
Once the nominees were in, it was up to the HOTEL MANAGEMENT editorial staff to choose the winners. Narrowing it down was no easy task, especially since we had to review hundreds of submissions this year! All of our nominees were qualified to be named to this years list. But there can only be 30!
