Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has launched its first Four Points property in Indonesia, opening a mid-market hotel in the tourist resort of Bali.
The new Four Points Bali, launched on July 21, is in Jalan Benesari Banjar Pengabetan in the area of Kuta and minutes from the famous Kuta Beach, which is well known for its nightlife, shopping and dining. While this is the first Four Points resort in Bali, it is Starwood’s seventh property on the island itself.
The hotel is owned by PT. Umah Benesari and has 185 guest rooms and a full service restaurant as well as a 24-hour fitness center and a kids club.
“We are proud to debut the Four Points brand in Indonesia with the opening of Four Points Bali, Kuta, adding to our rapidly expanding list of dynamic destinations across the globe,” said Brian McGuinness, Global Brand Leader for Specialty Select Brands at Starwood. “With this significant opening, we are confident that Four Points will continue to reinvent travel across the globe with its emphasis on stylish comfort and genuine service at an honest value.”
Through 2014, Four Points launched 50 new hotels around the world and is planning to launch 25 this year, which will bring the total above 200.
