Acentic installs Panorama into The Dubai JW Marriott Marquis

Acentic has installed 1,350 rooms at the world tallest hotel, the five star JW Marriott Marquis, Dubai with its Panorama technology. The project is nearing the final phase of its completion in September when all 1,608 rooms of Dubai's landmark hotel will be running on one Acentic Panorama IP interactive system.

The rooms are equipped with LG screens as part of the digital interactive TV package. Amongst other benefits the Panorama platform will provide JW Marriott Marquis guests is access to Hollywood movies as well as a branded user interface, delivering hotel information.

With no requirement for a set top box, Smartcom delivers functionality for hoteliers and their guests as well as less power consumption, fewer parts to maintain and all of the functionality of Acentic's acclaimed Panorama platform.

The system is also designed to help the hotel differentiate guest services and generate additional revenue streams, including an interactive TV experience that allows guests to take advantage of digital television, offering Hollywood movies, in-room communication and tailored branding.
