The Coniston Hotel drives online bookings

The Coniston Hotel and Country Estate, a 71-room hotel and spa in North Yorkshire, United Kingdom, has launched its new website and online booking platform with Guestline's digital marketing solution, WebSuite. WebSuite is developed specifically for the hospitality industry offering hotelier's innovative website design and online booking facilities.

By combining a professionally designed, mobile responsive website and a simple booking engine (with live rates), Coniston improved its conversion rate, increase the ARR and drove direct bookings.

It is reported that 30 to 50 percent of people who go to OTAs, will also go directly to the hotel's website so it is imperative that the hotels have an eye-catching, easy to navigate website to convert these visitors into customers. Google recently reported that that four out of five people now book their rooms online and with the average UK consumer now owning three separate mobile devices, hoteliers must ensure their booking engine works across different platforms to maximize potential sales.
