Crowne Plaza Newcastle - Stephenson Quarter to install Acentic's HSIA and in-room entertainment

The Crowne Plaza Newcastle – Stephenson Quarter will install HSIA and in-room entertainment systems from Acentic in its 251 bedroom hotel opening in July. Acentic will be supplying Radiant 4, its next-generation HSIA Platform, a solution to providing robust high-speed connectivity throughout every part of the hotel.

Also included in the specification for Crowne Plaza Newcastle – Stephenson Quarter is panorama NG in conjunction with its push and play application. This creates an interactive media hub so that guests can view and stream movies, favorite music or video content from their own devices to the in-room TV. Samsung Hospitality televisions have been chosen as the smart TV partner.

“We are impressed with the way that it is easy to operate, scalable and it is really guest and user friendly,” said Andrew Fox, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Newcastle – Stephenson Quarter. “Our hotel will offer the largest state of the art conference and banqueting space in central Newcastle and Acentic's Radiant 4 platform will allow us to support the very latest conference and event technology required by our clients."
