Ellis Island Hotel, Casino and Brewery in Las Vegas has selected Agilysys’ InfoGenesis point-of-sale as a hosted solution and rGuest Pay as its payment solution. rGuest Pay will provide the property with complete security for their guests’ financial data, while InfoGenesis POS will increase efficiency across the property and help management and property team members deliver world-class guest service.

“We’re certain the Agilysys solutions will help optimize operations at our property,” said JP Murray, director of IT operations at Ellis Island Hotel, in a statement. “We have always been a family-owned business and having personal service and a guest-centric operation is very important to us. InfoGenesis and rGuest Pay will help us keep that focus while being more efficient and securing every transaction across our property.”

The Ellis Island Hotel, Casino and Brewery is known throughout Las Vegas for its popular karaoke bar and its restaurants, the Village Pub & Café and the Ellis Island BBQ. Visitors can also enjoy the onsite brewery, which serves over a million glasses a year and was voted best microbrewery in Las Vegas. The property is located just off the Las Vegas Strip, where it has been a landmark for 50 years.

InfoGenesis POS is an award-winning, comprehensive point-of-sale system that combines easy-to-use terminal and tablet touchscreen applications with industry-leading offline capabilities. rGuest Pay is a payment gateway that enables complete and secure payment processing. rGuest Pay leverages one of the few payment offerings that includes: validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE), which securely encrypts cardholder data while drastically reducing annual PCI audit costs; a Payment Information Proxy (PIP) that secures data arriving via e-commerce interfaces; robust tokenization, which eliminates storage of cardholder data; and a full range of fixed and mobile EMV-ready payment devices that ensure compliance with new card security regulations.
