The Expressway Inn Bismarck implements Assa Abloy Hospitality mobile access along with its standalone app solution and VingCard classic RFID door locks. Together with Visionline, a wireless access-management solution, Assa Abloy mobile access and classic RFID locks provide guests at the North Dakota property with the ability to skip front desk lines, and instead securely access their guestrooms using their own smart devices.
The solution works by allocating a guestroom and generating a digital key that is encrypted and as a result, is securely delivered to a guest's smartphone. The smartphone in turn places the key in a secure key vault within the hotel's mobile app. When presented to the appropriate lock, the app then transmits the encrypted key via a secure communication channel, ensuring that none but those authorized are able receive digital key information and gain access.
Powered by Assa Abloy's secure Seos technology, which provides hoteliers with the world's first multi-platform ecosystem for issuing, delivering and revoking digital keys, Assa Abloy Hospitality mobile access offers flexible integration, either through integration with a property's own mobile app or through certified third party application if later desired. The Expressway Inn Bismarck currently uses Assa Abloy Hospitality's standalone app, which requires no integration with other property systems.
