HFTP selects 2022–2023 global board of directors

The Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals nominating committee—comprising past HFTP Global past presidents, advisory council chairs and chapter presidents—has selected the HFTP members who will replace the outgoing directors of the HFTP global board.

The official slate for the 2022-2023 HFTP global executive committee and board of directors is:

FTP Global Executive Committee

  • HFTP Global President Neil Foster, director of technology at Coast Hotels.
  • HFTP Global Vice President Stephanie Anderson, chief financial officer at River Bend Golf & Country Club.
  • HFTP Global Treasurer Justin Taillon, professor and department head, Highline College.
  • HFTP Global Secretary James Bina, director of finance at Rosen Hotels & Resorts Inc.
  • HFTP Global Immediate Past President Mark Pate Sr., assistant controller & IT director at Highpointe Hotel Corp.

New HFTP Global Directors

  • Katerina Berezina, Ph.D., CHTP, CRME, CHIA, associate professor, hospitality management program director at the University of Mississippi
  • Mohammed Al Qassim, managing partner at The Manor By JA

In accordance with HFTP Bylaws (Article VI, Section 1), the executive committee will appoint one additional director this summer. In accordance with Article X, Section 3, of the bylaws, should the slate above remain uncontested, the HFTP Secretary will cast a single ballot at the HFTP Annual Business Meeting during the 2022 HFTP Annual Convention, taking place this Sept.14-16 in Austin. The secretary will then declare the mentioned individuals as duly elected.
