HFTP to co-locate events in San Antonio this October

Hospitality Financial Technology Professionals announced Thursday it would be co-locating four events in San Antonio this October.

HFTP previously revealed on March 18 it was postponing this year’s North American Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference. Originally scheduled to take place June 15-18, the organization postponed the event to Oct. 26-29, keeping it at its original venue, the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio. The event will continue to offer the same opportunities it usually does with a four-day education program planned and an exhibit hall hosting more than 300 companies.

Since moving HITEC to October, HFTP has relocated its annual convention, originally scheduled for that month, from Minneapolis to San Antonio. It will run from Oct. 27-29. The event features educational sessions focusing on industry finance and technology topics and honors HFTP members and the association’s accomplishments.

Additionally, HFTP has revealed it will hold both its annual Club Forum and startup pitch competition Entrepreneur 20X on Oct. 26 in San Antonio.

"HFTP is geared to support the hospitality industry with a network of expert resources and education as it begins the process of recovery from the economic impacts of the current pandemic," HFTP CEO Frank Wolfe said in a statement. "Providing the 'Best and Brightest of HFTP' week will bring together a broad range of stakeholders to share smart, strategic ideas and tools."
