HOTEL MANAGEMENT presents: Battle of the Brands

Battle of the Brands

Few sporting spectacles match the excitement of March Madness. That time of year when 68 college basketball teams all have the same dream: running the gauntlet and emerging as NCAA champion. But only one can win.

Winning is also the aim for millions of Americans, who each year fill out their NCAA brackets, hoping they get that first-round upset right, correctly picking the Cinderella team to reach the Sweet Sixteen and, ultimately, choosing the eventual Final Four winner.

Hotel brands fight every day—not to score baskets but to net guests. We at HOTEL MANAGEMENT thought: What would it look like if hotel brands were to compete against each other in a bracket-style competition? Why wonder, though: We are doing it!

Virtual Event

Survival in these times is highly dependent on a hotel's ability to quickly adapt and pivot their business to meet the current needs of travelers and the surrounding community. Join us for Optimization Part 2 – a FREE virtual event – as we bring together top players in the industry to discuss alternative uses when occupancy is down, ways to boost F&B revenue, how to help your staff adjust to new challenges and more, in a series of panels focused on how you can regain profitability during this crisis.

On March 14th, HOTEL MANAGEMENT, in partnership with website, will unveil the "Battle of the Brands," four separate NCAA-style brackets composed of 16 brands in the following divisions: Luxury, Upper-Upscale/Upscale, Midscale and Economy.

Fill out your bracket and each week we will reveal who moves on and who checks out.

Make sure and check back at HOTEL MANAGEMENT on March 14th to get started on your brackets.

For four hotel brands, it will be their "One Shining Moment."
