HP Hotels adopts PurpleCloud task software

HP Hotels, a third-party hotel-management company with a portfolio of more than 40 hotels in 17 states, is implementing PurpleCloud Technologies’ hotel task software across its entire management portfolio.

PurpleCloud Technologies, whose customizable modules include housekeeping, engineering, front office, service person and management, streams real-time data directly to hotel associates to improve the efficiency of hotel operations, while also collecting significant amounts of data to create trend reports for upper-level hotel executives.

“The PurpleCloud Technologies hotel task software is an important technology implementation for us that will help with overall efficiencies in operations and improve staff performance and the guest experience, while maximizing investment returns to our owners,” HP Hotels President and CEO Charles Oswald said in a statement. “Important factors in adopting this technology were its user acceptance and multi-language text and speech capabilities, as well as PurpleCloud’s ability to integrate additional functions into the platform.”

Oswald added that the PurpleCloud Tech implementation includes customization that integrates the platform with the company’s human resources functions and will be deployed to HP Hotels’ properties that represent nearly 6,500 rooms under management.
