The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Va., has selected the InfoGenesis POS and InfoGenesis Flex solutions to streamline food, beverage and retail operations at the historic property.
The Jefferson, a member of Historic Hotels of America and Preferred Hotels and Resorts, wanted both fixed and mobile point-of-sale solutions that would optimize food and beverage delivery in a variety of settings — from patio and restaurant dining to banquet service. The hotel also wanted to increase efficiency at the property's retail shops.
According to Walter Zalewski, IT director at The Jefferson Hotel, InfoGenesis is an ideal fit for the property, in terms of both technical and user requirements.
“InfoGenesis and InfoGenesis Flex have all the bells and whistles of competing products, but they are presented in a more straightforward and user-friendly format,” said Walter Zalewski, IT director at The Jefferson Hotel. “These systems are easy to learn, which is critical in terms of staff acceptance.”
