Leading Hotels launches travel advisor portal

Leading Hotels of the World has collaborated with TravPRO Mobile to create a learning and sales companion for travel advisors. The platform provides advisors with insider access to product resources and sales support for Leading Hotels’ more than 400 member properties.

The new training and sales platform begins with an interactive learning experience that provides an overview of the brand and its members. This includes information on membership qualifications, on-property experiences and insider advice on working directly with Leading Hotels’ reservations and sales teams.

A multimodal approach is used throughout the platform, with audiovisual components and interactive questions. The platform has a responsive design to let advisors continue working on computers, tablets or phones.

Once training chapters have been completed, agents have access to the Retain section, which condenses product knowledge from the training module into a 24/7 resource that can be used as a refresher or a sales presentation. Content will be updated on an ongoing basis by the Leading Hotels team.

The new platform also provides hotel imagery, special offers and itinerary ideas for advisors to show clients. The Sell section provides deep sales support and resources. The platform also has a complete directory of Leading Hotels’ member properties, searchable by destination.

“As we move forward out of one of the largest crises to ever hit our industry, it is imperative that we provide market-leading products for our members and our valued travel advisor community,” said Chris Walker, SVP and chief commercial officer for The Leading Hotels of the World. “This platform was created to provide our members and advisor community with tools that delight their clients and help them successfully accelerate their business recovery. We spoke with both stakeholders to co-create a platform that best serves their needs. The result is an interactive and intuitive platform that will transform the sales landscape for our portfolio.”
