Lodging System adds VP of business development

Lodging System drives direct-bookings-first to increase rate and occupancy.

Lodging System, an artificial intelligence platform, added Diana Weber as VP of business development. The platform increases revenue and profit with a suite of artificial intelligence tools to augment and optimize hotels and resorts. Weber will be responsible for the development and growth of the Lodging System artificial intelligence technology platform.

Prior to joining Lodging System, Weber held various leadership roles as GM and director of sales and marketing for independent hotels in Florida and the Bahamas. She has extensive experience in taking underperforming properties and revamping their sales, marketing and technology to drive revenue, cut unnecessary system costs, and encourage more direct bookings.

“Artificial intelligence is changing the way hotels and resorts do business," she said in a statement. “The opportunities are endless to grow a hotel’s business and reduce or eliminate operational system costs in combining PMS, POS, revenue management, booking engine, website and employee communication tools while increasing revenue in a one-stop-shop system that is based on performance.”
