Opal Hotel in Germany moves to CRS1 hotel reservation platform

The Opal Hotel in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, has moved to the CRS1 hotel reservation platform form Magnuson Worldwide. By using the CRS1 hotel reservation platform to market worldwide, the Opal Hotel will benefit from reservation fees up to 90 percent lower than some major reservation providers.

Launched in the UK last October, the CRS1 platform offers flat fees per transaction with volume based pricing. Magnuson states that hotels using commonly provided legacy hotel reservation systems will be able to reduce CRS transaction costs up to 90 percent. The CRS1 system offers a free hotel property management system, PMS1, with no monthly fees, no monthly minimums, and no long-term contracts.
