Reside Worldwide, a property technology and alternative accommodations company with operations in more than 19,000 cities and 60 countries, has partnered with Virdee, a software-as-a-service provider based in Austin, Texas, to implement its touchless check-in and check-out process.

Reside will initially deploy Virdee Concierge via the Virdee App and standalone kiosks in two of its managed buildings, The Beekman Tower in New York City and The Oxford in Seattle.

By automating front-of-house workflows, Virdee lets guests more safely access Reside’s properties at a time when human touchpoints and personal interaction have become more challenging. The Virdee Concierge reduces average on-site check-in time to less than 20 seconds while also offering ID verification, payment collection and remote support.

“We are extremely excited to partner with Virdee on this timely initiative, which doubles down on Reside’s continuing commitment to duty of care, augmenting our recently announced Reside Right cleaning protocols,” said Lee Curtis, founder and CEO of Reside Worldwide. “We think this API integration is a natural and meaningful adjunct to our 3SIXTY tech platform as we continue to identify and seamlessly incorporate customer-centric solutions into our world-class technology stack.”

“By integrating leading smart-lock manufacturers, payment processors and property management systems into our end-to-end concierge solution, we are able to deliver a contactless experience like none other,” said Branigan Mulcahy, Virdee co-founder.
