Rydges Hotels and Resorts has selected CheckMate’s guest-centric tools to personalize service and increase profits across 49 properties. Rydges is a family of hotels and resorts that accommodates over one million guests each year in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
Working with CheckMate, Rydges anticipates seeing an increase in loyalty program memberships and will be able to differentiate its brand by offering the convenience of online and mobile check-in.
The Rydges Sydney Airport property was the first to launch the new check-in technology and has been generating $4,000 in monthly incremental revenue from room upgrades and ancillaries. This equates to more than $50,000 in annual revenue that would not have otherwise been realized.Thirty to 50 percent of guests use online check-in every day.
In addition to offering online check-in, another benefit for Rydges has been encouraging guests to sign-up for their Priority Guest Rewards program. CheckMate's intuitive functionality "pre-fills" the loyalty enrollment form, making it very simple for guests to sign-up.
