Sanctum Soho Hotel in London has opted for Guestline’s cloud-hosted Rezlynx PMS, distribution, EPoS, and online booking solutions to collaborate its systems and ensure PCI compliancy.

The Sanctum Soho decided to change from its previous, server-based supplier due to time consuming procedures. To amend or upload rates and promotional offers, the team would have to wait 24 hours and the systems weren't regularly updated to meet the needs of today's traveller.

“Our old system was very restrictive and wasn't PCI compliant which is crucial for guest security,” said Ani Chirita, Sanctum Soho rooms division manager. “We operate in a competitive market place and we need to be able to flex rates and make amends to the system in real-time so they take effect immediately. We are looking forward to increasing direct bookings and driving revenue which will in turn provide a demonstrable return for our new technology investment.”

“By selecting Guestline's solutions and thereby reducing the number of third-party suppliers, we are now dealing with one point of contact which gives us more accountability and ensures all our software is fully integrated,” Chirita continued.

Currently receiving 80 percent of bookings via OTAs the hotel were keen to drive direct bookings and reduce commissions. The team wanted to manage its channels more effectively and have more control over its rates and availability. With the Guestline systems, Sanctum Soho will be able to set rules to reflect current occupancy levels and rate strategies along with the ability to directly communicate with guests using the advanced marketing functionality within Rezlynx PMS.

Its new, integrated online booking module will allow guests to book quickly and efficiently and with the new price assure tool, the customer is reassured they are getting the best rate direct with the hotel.
