UK's Red Carnation adds inventory to TripAdvisor

In a sign of the times, UK's Red Carnation Hotel Collection is committing its hotel inventory to the TripAdvisor instant booking platform, making it reportedly the first UK hotel collection to integrate the new interface. The platform allows users to make a hotel booking through TripAdvisor’s hotel and online travel agency partners without leaving the TripAdvisor site.

Through the partnership, U.S. travelers on TripAdvisor are now able to book Red Carnation’s inventory of hotels directly

TripAdvisor launched its instant booking platform in June 2014.

Jonathan Raggett, Managing Director of Red Carnation Hotels, said: “We’re excited to be the first U.K. hotel collection to join the new TripAdvisor instant booking platform. Guest service is at the absolute heart of everything we do, and this integration importantly makes the booking process simple and seamless for guests using TripAdvisor.”

“Our relationship with TripAdvisor is a valued one. Our hotels are consistently rated highly on TripAdvisor rankings and our three London five-star properties have featured as the top three hotels in London for the last five years. It’s a transparent benchmark showing that we continue to meet and exceed our guests’ expectations time and time again.”
