Uniguest acquires Vertical Systems

Nashville-based Uniguest has acquired Silicon Valley-based technology innovator Vertical Systems Inc. (VSi). With the acquisition of VSi’s existing customer base, Uniguest immediately exceeds 10,000 individual hotel customers in 52 countries who rely on the company to manage a growing portfolio of on-property guest-facing technologies.

“This acquisition of VSi further cements our commanding leadership position within hospitality and enhances our portfolio of innovative guest-facing technology solutions that help hoteliers worldwide enhance the guest experience,” said Uniguest CEO Joseph Morgan, Jr.
 
Uniguest’s suite of guest-facing technology solutions includes full-featured business centers, guest-use Internet access stations, static and interactive digital signage, and purposed tablets, such as boarding pass printing stations, which are all backed by an in-house 24/7/365 technical support center based at its headquarters in Nashville.
