Worldhotels installs keyless entry technology

Guests at Worldhotels properties such Antares Hotel Accademia in Milan, Italy, will have keyless access to their hotel rooms.

Worldhotels has partnered with OpenKey to offer an experience-focused technology platform with a mobile access solution at 350 independent upscale hotel properties around the world. Guests at Worldhotels properties with convenient keyless access to their hotel rooms, resulting in more guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Along with convenient keyless room access, Worldhotels properties will be able to offer guests the OpenKey app for conveniences including obtaining directions to the property, booking amenities, notifying hotels of early or late arrival, and more. The environment will also benefit, as OpenKey technology eliminates the need for disposable plastic keys. OpenKey also has the potential to greatly expand its geographic reach with Worldhotels.
