Zanzibar Hotel Group migrates to Hotelogix cloud-based PMS

The Zanzibar Hotel Group, a multiproperty group comprising of properties located throughout the island of Zanzibar, selects Hotelogix's cloud-based property-management system to run its operations. Having seven individual properties to manage, the group was looking for a system that could enable them to oversee operations across all establishments from one point of control.

With properties in Jambiani, Michamvi and Matemwe, the Zanzibar Group has more than 15 years of hospitality experience and have established themselves as one of the leading accommodation providers in the World Heritage Stone Town.

The hotel group was previously using a system that was more attuned to managing single properties, and there was no straightforward process to control operations across all hotels. After searching on the internet and failing to find a simple system with the necessary features, the company decided to go with Hotelogix after reading a number of positive reviews by other clients. After using the system for a month on its RasMichamvi Beach Resort, the group decided to implement it across its other hotels as well.
The manager can now monitor operations at any of the properties and even take group actions, on one screen. Guest history and preferences can be shared across properties, so visitors enjoy the same level of personalization at any of the group's hotels.
