The development of the 24-story, 225-room hotel and event center in the city’s downtown was already approved by the New Rochelle City planning board.
The development will include a hotel/boarding-house and a publicly accessible ground level activated by cafés, restaurants and amenity spaces.
The hotel will have 132 guestrooms and suites, all designed by Stan Ramaker of Fond du Lac, Wis.-based M+A Design.

Located two hours from Manhattan in New York’s Hudson Valley, the hotel will also have the a 12,000-square-foot Spa Mirbeau.
The developer is working with architecture firm McIntosh Poris Associates and Kravitz Design to complete the Albert Kahn-designed building.
The design team includes interior design firm Ealain Studios, which designed the space with local touchpoints.
Los Angeles-based KNA Design will lead the interior design for The Monsaraz’s mid-century-modern look and feel.
