Caspia Hotels nabs Ahmedabad's Ganesh Meridian Hotel

A subsidiary of Indian hotel asset company SAMHI Hotels Private Limited has acquired the Ganesh Meridian Hotel in the western city of Ahmedabad for what the Times of India is estimating at Rs 135 crore.

The 156-room Ganesh Meridian Hotel was owned and operated by Shree Siddhi Group, a city-based real estate development company and was purchased by Caspia Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SAMHI Hotels. JLL, which advised on the deal, said that the property would be rebranded as part of "an international upscale brand."
