Daly Seven acquires Virginia Hilton Garden Inn for $13.9M

Daly Seven has acquired its 40th hotel, the 117-room Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke (Va.). The hotel development and management company bought the 80,000-square-foot hotel from South Peak Hotel for $13,925,000.

"We are proud to expand our overall footprint in the Roanoke market, and believe that the Hilton Garden Inn's upscale design and large meeting space allows us to access a new client base within the area," Bob Daly, chairman of the board for Daly Seven, said in a statement. The hotel marks the fourth Hilton Garden Inn in the company’s portfolio.

Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke features three meeting rooms and a boardroom for a total of 2,500 square feet of flexible function space. It also features a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool, a complimentary business center and on-site dining.

Daly Seven first began operating hotels in the Roanoke area in 1988. Today, it also operates the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Roanoke Hollins/I-81 in northeast Roanoke. The company’s newest hotel is located near Roanoke County’s primary business corridor, just a short drive from downtown Roanoke and the Roanoke/Blacksburg Regional Airport.

"We have continued to see Roanoke's potential for growth, both in the medical-research sector and as a tourism destination, and expect to see further development in these areas in the years to come,” Daly said. "The Hilton Garden Inn's location, within 3 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Carilleon Clinic Memorial Hospital, will allow Daly Seven to tap into these growing markets."

Founded more than 40 years ago, Daly Seven is a family-owned business with locations in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. It has operated hotels for Hilton, Marriott International, IHG, Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Best Western Hotels & Resorts.
