Dhillon Hotels Group acquires the Midway Hotel & Suites

Best Western Random Hotel

The Dhillon Hotels Group of Dublin, Calif., acquired the Midway Hotel & Suites in Brookfield, Wis.

The 126-room hotel was purchased for $5.6 million. Dhillon plans on renovating the hotel and converting into a Best Western over a six-month period, during which all guestrooms will close. However, the office tower, conference rooms and restaurant will remain open.

"We’re going to face-lift the property, and it will be all brand new rooms," Raj Dhillon, president of Dhillon Hotels Group, told the Milwaukee Business Journal.
