Dubai tech hub to get Radisson Red hotel

Radisson RED Dubai Silicon Oasis

Rezidor is set to bring its lifestyle-select brand Radisson Red to Dubai. The hotel is being launched in partnership with the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, a government entity focused on "innovation, technology and entrepreneurship." Located in Dubai’s Silicon Oasis, a development designed to  promote technology-based industries, the 171-room Radisson Red Dubai Silicon Oasis is expected to open in Q3 2018.

“Dubai has always been an important destination for our growth, and its continued development opens up new opportunities for our expansion," Elie Younes, EVP & CDO of Rezidor at the signing ceremony in Dubai, noting that the company's total portfolio in Dubai currently stands at 13 hotels with more than 2,600 rooms. The global Red portfolio includes 12 hotels under development, and the  first hotel will make its debut in April in Brussels, Belgium.

The Radisson Red Dubai Silicon Oasis will be located nine miles from Dubai International Airport (DXB) and about 20 miles from Al Maktoum Airport.
