HREC arranges sale of Pittsburgh La Quinta

HREC Investment Advisors arranged the sale of the 145-room La Quinta Inn & Suites Pittsburgh North McKnight. The buyer of the property was the Hamister Group out of Buffalo, N.Y.

Ketan Patel, SVP in HREC’s Washington D.C. office, and Ted Anka, VP in HREC’s Miami office, exclusively represented the seller during the transaction.

Located at the confluence of the Alleghany, Ohio and Monongahela Rivers, Pittsburgh is the second largest city in Pennsylvania. The greater Pittsburgh region, which extends into neighboring Ohio and West Virginia, is also the largest population center in the Ohio River Valley and Appalachia. The hotel is located immediately off of the McKnight Road roughly 7 miles north of downtown Pittsburgh. The property is accessible from these major throughways, as well as from Pittsburgh International Airport.

Guestroom amenities include mini fridges, microwaves and coffeemakers, as well as free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and pillow-top mattresses. Additional amenities include a free continental breakfast, parking, a 24-hour fitness room and an outdoor seasonal pool. The property also provides access to a convenience store and meeting space.
