HRI Properties makes first Nashville buy

James Robertson Apartments

New Orleans-based HRI Properites purchased the James Robertson Apartments in Nashville, Tenn., with plans to convert the building into a boutique lifestyle-branded hotel.

HRI bought the 12-story, art deco building for $18.2 million. According to The Tennessean, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and HRI plans on spending roughly $65 million in a hotel conversion, creating a 190-room hotel.

This is the first acquisition in Nashville for HRI.
