AVR Realty Co. sold the 390-room Holiday Inn & Suites Across from Universal Orlando to InSite Group. JLL Hotels & Hospitality, led by Senior Managing Director Gregory Rumpel and VP Zayli Rodriguez, closed the sale on behalf of AVR Realty Co.
The hotel is located directly across from Universal Orlando Resort, near the Orange County Convention Center, a 12-minute drive from Walt Disney World Resort and 20 minutes from the Orlando International Airport. It features an outdoor heated pool, a 24-hour fitness center, an onsite TGI Friday’s restaurant and 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
“Despite Orlando’s continuous influx of new supply, the Holiday Inn & Suites Across from Universal Orlando has demonstrated impressive historical operating performance with resilient cash flows,” Rodriguez said in a statement. “Upon completion of the hotel’s refurbishment plan, the property will be well positioned to capitalize on the immense growth and the substantial investments being made in the market.”
