Korea's Paradise Group buys Orlando hotel

Holliday Fenoglio Fowler closed the sale of the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Downtown.

The firm represented HEI Hotels & Resorts in the sale, which traded the 167-room hotel to the Korea-based Paradise Group for $26 million.

This is the Paradise Group's first acquisition in the U.S., and it bought the hotel free of debt. The company plans on improving the property, which opened in 2000.

The hotel will be managed by the BayStar Hotel Group.
