Shiva Hotels acquires London’s Kingsway Hall Hotel for hefty sum

Shiva Hotels has purchased The Kingsway Hall Hotel, a landmark property in London’s Covent Garden, for £96 million, reports Hotel Owner. Another £15 million reportedly will go toward an extensive renovation.

Rishi Sachdev, managing director of Shiva Hotels, said: “We have made no secret of our strategy to build a portfolio of quality hotels in Central London. Kingsway Hall is a high profile addition and demonstrates we are achieving our goal in a very competitive market. These are exciting times for the Shiva team.’’

Shiva has over 2,00o rooms in London either operational or under development. These include Millenium Bridge House overlooking the Thames, Vandon House in Buckingham Gate, Morley House on Holborn Viaduct, Hampton by Hilton in Waterloo and Lincoln Plaza at Canary Wharf.
