Westin Singapore opens

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide opened The Westin Singapore, marking the brand’s return to this Southeast Asian financial and lifestyle hub.

As Singapore’s first-ever integrated hotel located within an office building, The Westin Singapore occupies levels 32 to 46 of the brand new Asia Square Tower 2 commercial development in Marina Bay. The hotel boasts the highest lobby in Singapore. Located on the 32nd floor, the lobby features 36-foot-tall floor-to-ceiling windows allowing for views of Marina Bay. Guests are also greeted to a palette of nature-inspired colors, streamlined décor and pendant lights designed to complement the cityscape.

Each of the hotel’s 305 guestrooms and suites, including Executive Club rooms, Sea View Suites, Harbor View Suites and a Presidential Suite, have floor-to-ceiling windows and signature amenities. In-room amenities include: the Westin Heavenly Bed and the Heavenly Bath/Shower.

The Westin Singapore offers an infinity pool with a view over Singapore’s south coast; a WestinWORKOUT fitness studio; the New Balance Gear Lending program, which provides guests with athletic shoes and apparel during their stay; and RunWESTIN with maps that have three-mile and five-mile jogging and walking routes from the hotel.

Additionally, the property has the Heavenly Spa by Westin, with six private treatment rooms and a range of facilities including a whirlpool and steam room.

In addition to ergonomic in-room workspaces, the Westin Executive Club Lounge offers Executive Club guests an exclusive space to organize meetings with wireless Internet access and private meeting rooms. For events, available are function facilities encompassing 14,531 square feet of versatile meeting rooms, a pre-function area and a ballroom.

For dining, available on the 33rd floor is Cook & Brew. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Seasonal Tastes, maintains five interactive kitchens. Additionally, the Lobby Lounge provides an environment for afternoon tea or after-work business discussions.
