Wyndham signs deal for Kenyan hotel

Wyndham Hotel Group has signed a management agreement for an upscale hotel property in Kenya, near the Amboseli National Park. The Wyndham Amboseli Golf Resort and Spa and is expected to open in 2017 with 290 rooms and two golf courses.

Wyndham Hotel Group's Regional Vice President for the Middle East and Africa Bani Haddad said as Kenya's economy continues to grow, demand continues to increase for internationally renowned, world-class brands in virtually all segments, from budget through to upscale and extended stay, reports All Africa.

The resort is planned on 400 acres and will have a conference facility with a capacity for 300. Serviced plots will be sold for private developers to put up cottages. It will Wyndham’s second hotel in Kenya after another management deal signed earlier in the year for a Ramada-branded hotel in Nairobi.
